The Puthri Model
Puthri is India’s first ever developmental project that seeks to create Career Intentionality among underprivileged girl students. It is an initiative by Avtar Human Capital Trust (AHCT), a not for-profit public charitable organization

The year 2021 saw the unveiling of our most-awaited and planned series of events to identify our Star Puthris - The Talent Search Event. Puthri encourages the students to showcase their talent through Talent contests under different categories like Elocution Contest, Poster Making competition, Essay Writing, AdZap et al...

At Project Puthri, we extend vital financial support to deserving Puthri Scholars, ensuring they can successfully pursue their tertiary education and prepare for a soaring career. Our comprehensive scholarship program encompasses a rigorous process, starting from the meticulous screening and selection of scholars, identifying dedicated donors, and providing funding upon university enrollment.But our commitment doesn't end there. We go a step further by consistently evaluating the academic progress of our scholars and providing unwavering mentoring until their set goals are achieved. From our founder’s desk
Everybody has dreams. It is the reality around us that propels or dispels them.
When we talk about making ours a developed nation, it is essential to include all into our growth story. While many of us have our own vehicles to use to drive to our destinations, there are many who are left behind due to the lack of it. Project Puthri, a cause which is close to my heart, is an effort to enable the underprivileged girl children to pursue their dreams and break out of the vicious cycle of poverty and to become tax paying citizens.
After completing 5 successful years, Project Puthri now is all set to spread its wings to impact the lives of many more girl students
